Hawzah News Agency- According to a statement from the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation in various fields. They also underlined the importance of convening the Joint Political and Security Committee between Iraq and Saudi Arabia at the earliest opportunity to enhance coordination.
The ministry added that Hussein’s letter highlighted the Iraqi government’s determination to follow up on the issue of prisoners in a manner that would further consolidate brotherly ties between Baghdad and Riyadh.
